Ache and struggling is inevitable in life. The traditional teachings inform us to not run from these pains, however quite to make peace with them. To come back house to ourselves.
Self-kindness, self-acceptance and unconditional self-love known as Maitri. This Buddhist educating has been rippling via the world for hundreds of years now, and but we nonetheless wrestle with it. Which signifies that it’s part of our human expertise. It’s a follow – a journey from our wrestle, to the approaching house to ourselves in an effort to ease our struggling.
We begin this course of with the very seat of kindness, compassion and love – which is on the core of our tender coronary heart.
